Always Play With Your Food! Buffalo Chicken Wing Sauce Recipe So now we're ready to put together the Buffalo Chicken Wing Sauce. We have our foundation Cayenne Pepper sauce, so don't blink because the rest of the recipe will just fly by. Kidding, the rest of the wing sauce recipe is just 2 other simple ingredients. Yep, that's it. So whether you fry, bake or bbq your chicken wings, making them "Buffalo Style" couldn't be any easier.
While the recipe consists of only 3 ingredients, I find a crucial part of saucing the wing is that the wing sauce needs to be hot when adding it to the hot wings. I find that it helps with the absorbtion of the sauce into the wing, giving you a crispy, well sauced wing as opposed to just messy wings.
For 1 pound of wings (about 10-12 pieces)
4 oz. Cayenne Pepper Sauce (home-made) or Franks Hot Sauce
2 oz. Unsalted Butter 2 Tablespoons, distilled white vinegar Melt the butter in the hot sauce, then add the vinegar, Heat the sauce to a simmer, then toss the baked, bbq or fried wings with the heated sauce. That's it. Authentic Buffalo Chicken Wings, and a recipe that, if your like me, you will never deviate from. Enjoy! This page last modified on Monday, March 12, 2012 |
